Welcome to Helios Cabs. These Terms of Service govern your use of our chauffeur-driven car rental services. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Overview

Helios Cabs provides professional chauffeur-driven car rental services across India, including but not limited to local car rental, airport transfers, outstation travel, corporate transportation, and event services. All services are subject to availability and confirmation.

2. Booking and Confirmation

2.1 Booking Process

Bookings can be made through our website, phone, email, or WhatsApp. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation from our team.

2.2 Advance Booking Requirements

  • Local and Airport Transfers: Minimum 2 hours advance booking required
  • Outstation Travel: Minimum 6 hours advance booking required
  • Night Bookings (10 PM - 5 AM): Subject to availability and team confirmation

2.3 Booking Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation message/email from us with booking details, vehicle information, and chauffeur details.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Garage to Garage Billing

All services are billed on a "Garage to Garage" basis, which means the calculation starts from when the vehicle leaves our garage and ends when it returns to the garage. This includes the dry run from garage to your pickup location.

3.2 Local Rental Packages

Local rental packages have a minimum commitment of 8 hours and 80 kilometers (Garage to Garage). Usage beyond this minimum will be charged at the specified extra per-kilometer and per-hour rates.

3.3 Outstation Travel

Outstation trips have a minimum billing of 300 kilometers per calendar day. For example, a 2-day trip will have a minimum billing of 600 kilometers. Extra kilometers beyond the minimum are charged at the per-kilometer rate.

3.4 Additional Charges

  • Tolls, parking, and state taxes are charged as per actuals
  • Driver allowance (DA) for outstation trips as per package
  • Night charges (11 PM - 6 AM) may apply for certain services
  • GST as applicable by law

3.5 Payment Terms

Payment can be made via cash, UPI, credit/debit cards, or bank transfer. For corporate clients, invoice-based billing with agreed payment terms is available. Final payment is due upon completion of service or as per agreed terms.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Customer

  • More than 6 hours before pickup: Full refund of advance payment
  • 2-6 hours before pickup: 50% of advance payment will be charged
  • Less than 2 hours before pickup: 100% of advance payment will be charged
  • No-show: 100% charges applicable

4.2 Cancellation by Helios Cabs

In rare cases where we need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund and attempt to arrange an alternative vehicle. We are not liable for any consequential damages arising from such cancellation.

5. Customer Responsibilities

5.1 Passenger Conduct

  • Passengers must treat chauffeurs and vehicles with respect
  • Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited
  • Any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers will be charged to the customer
  • Maximum passenger capacity must not be exceeded

5.2 Luggage and Belongings

Customers are responsible for their luggage and personal belongings. Helios Cabs is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

5.3 Route and Timing

Customers should provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations and timings. Any changes to the itinerary should be communicated in advance and are subject to availability and additional charges.

6. Chauffeur and Vehicle Standards

6.1 Professional Chauffeurs

All our chauffeurs are experienced, licensed, verified, and trained in professional driving and customer service. They are expected to maintain the highest standards of conduct and safety.

6.2 Vehicle Maintenance

All vehicles are regularly serviced, cleaned, and maintained to ensure safety and comfort. However, in case of a breakdown, we will arrange for a replacement vehicle at the earliest.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Insurance Coverage

All our vehicles are comprehensively insured. However, this insurance does not cover personal belongings of passengers.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

Helios Cabs' liability is limited to the value of the service provided. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including but not limited to loss of business, missed flights, or personal inconvenience.

7.3 Force Majeure

Helios Cabs is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, riots, traffic jams, accidents, or government restrictions.

8. Complaints and Disputes

8.1 Complaint Resolution

If you have any complaints or concerns about our service, please contact us immediately at +91 84518 84899 or info@helioscabs.com. We will investigate and respond within 48 hours.

8.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India.

9. Modifications to Terms

Helios Cabs reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with the revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
